Why? Because we are INSANE! Just kidding, but sometimes I think it. I was skeptical at first if it really was for us. But then after trying it for 3 minutes, I knew it was perfect.

From the Beachbody website:

“In INSANITY®, Shaun T uses a method called Max Interval Training. It’s not your typical interval workout. You’ll do cardio and plyometric drills with intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training. It all happens in long bursts of maximum-intensity exercises with short periods of rest so you can burn up to 1,000 calories in an hour.”

1,000 calories in an hour? Sign me up! In most of the exercises, you do a 3 minute warm-up, 3 times. This is killer, and really gets your heart rate up. You go straight into a stretch, which you are thinking, “Okay, time to rest and relax.” WRONG. The stretch is sometimes just as hard! And then you have about 16 minutes to kill it. Ending with another 4-6 minute cool down stretch.

All work-outs are less than 41 minutes, with the exception of days when you have an add-on…like 2 nights ago we did Pure Cardio, and Cardio Abs. It just hurts thinking about it.


Anywho, my husband and I are for sure loving it! This is the same company that I did the ultimate reset through and saw great results.

We are on Day 20 and this is completely true. However, seeing results in my arms and legs makes it sooooo worth it!
