An Update on my June Goal!
So my June goal was to run a 5k without stopping. I can honestly say I made it to 2.5 miles, and am super happy with that achievement! I am still working on it, and hope to be at 3 miles by August. I know it is a mental thing, and one day I will be able to get there. I am a VERY slow, but that is okay:) Still haven’t had any injuries, and usually finish the race and can still walk……which is something I can’t say about a lot of friends and family I run with. Which makes me proud of myself for sticking to a good not crazy training plan.
I will keep you updated and let you know when I make it through a 5k without stopping…..hopefully it will be soon!
