RnR Savannah Training Plan

I am so excited to start training today for the Rock n’ Roll Savannah Half Marathon. Why?!? Because I finally talked my sister to run with me! She is way more athletic than me, so she will probably kick my butt. Whatevs! If I ran races because I was fast, I definitely would have stopped after my first one. I run because I like the training, and it keeps me healthy. The one difference with this training plan, is that for the first month I will also be doing Insanity. So wish me luck!!!

 

We also have the wonderful Talbots coming up to run the half with us! It will be a packed house:)

 

I am also adding some biking into my training. I have a bike I hardly ride, so if it's on my plan I will do it right?

I created the plan based on my travel schedule, and what usually works for me. If you want a personal running schedule, I would contact my friend Mary who is a Personal Trainer and Running Coach and can get you started.
