Vance Family Vacation

My 2 sisters and I all have birthdays within 10 days, which was clearly obvious with all of the birthday posts I was doing back to back. So each year my family tries to get together to celebrate in some way. Usually its just a weekend celebration, or a short cruise. But this year, with my sister being pregnant, we knew we should do something BIG. Okay, well not huge or crazy, but something longer than the usual celebration. Since this will be the last adult vacation we go on probably for the next 20 years, (WOAH). We decided to spend the week in a beautiful cabin right outside Gatlinburg. We have visited Gatlinburg many times growing up, and it was always tons of fun! The perfect combination of touristy and nature. We found the perfect cabin for us, 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms and tons of amenities (pool table, air hockey table, hot tub, etc). Here are a few pictures to show you how amazing it was: (We didn’t take as many as we wanted to)…oops

There was about 20 cabins on our street, which was a little annoying, but we never let it bother us!

We spent the week relaxing, playing cards, tubing, rafting, shopping, etc. OH and EATING! We ate at some great restaurants. Here are a few of our favorites.

The Apple Barn

We always stop at The Apple Barn when we are in the area.
