As I have mentioned SO many times, my sister is pregnant:) We loved showering her and celebrating the baby back in September. I am finally getting around to blogging about it, so here are some thoughts and pictures:)
We found a great location in Fishhawk, basically a country club with their own kitchen. I seriously love when the venue has a kitchen and we get to use it. We decided on a girly theme, nothing in specific, but followed the color scheme of pink, gray and yellow. We used Let’s Get Decorative again for the fun details, and Rachel did a fabulous job!! As usual:)
We chose food items that we knew the Mom to Be would enjoy, and even had a dessert table. My sister is not too much of a cake person, so we steered away from it.

Funny Diaper Station! We had guests write funny sayings/comments on the diapers for when Mom and Dad have to wake up in the middle of the night:)

Create a Headband for Baby Ebner Station. Guests were able to make a headband for the baby with the materials provided.

We had pictures from each week of the pregnancy, so we decided to pick 4 at random and have guests guess which week it was. We only had 3 winners!

Favors: We had flower seeds in little envelopes for guests to take with them and plant. We also had pink nail polish for the younger guests:)
I know I say this often, but I truly LOVE celebrating others. I especially enjoy it when I have such great people helping me with the planning:) We all got our jobs done, and it turned out to be a lovely shower! My sister couldn’t stop saying how laid back and not stressful it was:) Totally worth all of the planning and details!!! We are officially in Avery’s Birth month……so whenever you are ready missy!!!!!!!
You are right—it was a beautiful and stress free shower! Michelle loved it and had a great time! It was perfect!
Thanks again! I really enjoyed it!
She is such a beautiful pregnant mama! I love everything you guys did here! The diapers did bring me so much laughter for the first few weeks of Jordan’s life so I hope she enjoys those as much as I did! Headband idea is genius!!!!!!
Thanks for the pics. The decorations were amazing. I am still bummed I couldn’t attend. Can’t wait to meet Avery at Christmas!
