I actually made some big goals for 2013, and stuck to some of them. I thought I had my 2014 goals figured out, until Christmas day. Truth is, I am not sure what I want out of this year. I do know it will be a growing year for my husband and I, and I know it will have plenty of bumps along the way. Treating Krypto’s Lymphoma will put us in a firm budget for the first time in our relationship. We are going with the CHOP Protocol, which is the most expensive, but has the best outcomes. And we really didn’t need to second guess, we knew we needed to fight the disease.
My New Year’s Resolutions are going to be to approach life in a minimalistic fashion. By only purchasing things we need to live on. No frills. (My baby niece Avery might feel the effect of this resolution the most.)
I also want to de-clutter my house, and keep it that way for the whole year. This will be hard, but I know we need to do it.
Lastly, I want to work on myself. I want to make sure I am supporting my husband and family in whatever way they need me to. I guess I am going to embrace being a housewife. LOL:) Collier has a year and a half of his MBA left, so I only have a year and half of doing most of the chores, and then it will go back to a partnership.
